The Walker Art Center opens this summer’s Movies in the Park series with “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof”, the film that burned the image of a lounging Elizabeth Taylor wearing nothing more than a slip into the minds of millions. When the Walker-sponsored “Movies in the Park” announced their 2009 Summer theme of the films of Paul Newman, I have to tell you I was beyond giddy. A steadfast attendee to the annual outdoor film series, I’ve been rather disappointed with the movie choices over the last few years.
