Although not officially part of MNfashion Week, the Fresh Fruits Basket Fashion Show is taking place September 25 at the opening of MCAD’s annual School Girls and Mobilesuits: Culture and Creation in Manga and Anime event.  The fashion show will exhibit styles born from the subculture such as the sweet and frilly Loli and neo-historical steampunk.  Locals Samantha Rei, Heather Luca, Megan Bishop and Megan Maude will be the designer’s du jour.  For more information visit www.schoolgirlsandmobilesuits.com
